ROSSINI William Tell Overture KODÁLY Dances of Galánta SCHUMANN Symphony No. 4
We open the season with possibly the most famous overture ever composed and certainly the most used on the silver screen! Rossini's William Tell is a timeless masterpiece that must be experienced live to be truly appreciated. Kodaly is a captivating composer whose Dances of Galanta are fierce and unstoppable. Schumann's final symphony is a fascinating piece which reveals the master at the height of his powers.
