The American Alpine Club presents a weekend of climbing, barbque, food, gathering with friends, slide show, and parties at the world famous New River Gorge. Hone your skills at clinics by professional renowned climbers Jessa Goebel, Pat Goodman and Tim Rose, Appalchian Mountain Institute's Danny McCracken, and professional Guides from New River Mountain Guides. There is free primitve camping at the new AAC Campground, and more deluxe accomadations at Cantrell's at special Craggin Classic pricing. Contact Cantrells directly at 304.574.2500 for availability. Friday Pig Roast at the AAC Campground, Saturday Slide Show by Pat Goodman and dancing to the music of "Circle" at Cantrell's. AAC Members enter password to receive Member discounts. DIRECTIONS TO AAC CAMPGROUND:
From Hwy. 19, cross the New River Bridge (can't miss it!).
Take second left onto AMES HEIGHTS RD.
Go approx. 3/4 mile.
Turn left onto BURMA RD. (AAC SIGN)
First LEFT is the AAC CAMPGROUND LOT.
