NCTC presents FORECLOSURE, a workshop production of a play written by Vincent Delaney
In March of this year, NCTC presented a short run of HOLY DAYS by Sally Nemeth which we called a "special project." HOLY DAYS was a 3 day experiment, of sorts, testing our boundaries and providing great lessons to us along the way.
BROADWAY WORLD wrote a review: "I don't mean to be cruel, dear readers, but I'm about to tell you about one of the most gloriously simple and quietly profound shows that you'll probably not get to see." Jay Irwin
We learned a lot, listened to audience feedback and now, half a year later we offer you something between our Pipeline readings and a fully produced show: IN THE WORKS (the new OFFICIAL name of these types of projects)
FORECLOSURE, by Vincent Delaney. a workshop production directed by Makaela Pollock This project stars company members Peter Dylan O'Connor, Betsy Schwartz, MJ Sieber and Jennifer Lee Taylor September 20 - 23rd (Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 7pm), The Penthouse Theatre at UW Foreclosure pits couple against couple in a taught, marital and sexual power struggle of the 40somethings; dreams disappear, jobs go bust and one unhappy realtor ruins everything in this drama set against today's backdrop of financial, class and conjugal confusion. 'More info about IN THE WORKS', you say? OK. The director, cast, one designer, and playwright, Vincent Delaney will work together for just two weeks to workshop, stage and then present this play. With only 4 performances (480 total tickets) you will want to get your tickets - now. If our experience with HOLY DAYS was any indication, the tickets will sell out quickly.
