Derby Baby!
What is it: A private screening of the film, Derby, Baby! Narrated by actress/musician Juliette Lewis (What's eating Gilbert Grape, with Johnny Depp and Natural Born Killers, with Woody Harrelson), Derby, Baby! brings us the History of Roller Derby, from it's origins in the 1930's when Leo Seltzer invented the sport (Leo's son Jerry Seltzer, aka The Comish appears in the film) up through the modern rebirth and incarnation of this full contact sport. Roller derby is the fastest growing sport in the world with thousands of leagues spanning the globe. Come and see Derby, Baby! and find out why.
