| Description |
"Candide" is the story of a man who, though pummeled and slapped in every direction, tries desperately to cling to his optimism. Candide starts as a simple youth with very little to his name except the love of a beautiful young woman. Kicked out of his adopted home for expressing this love, he embarks on a series of exotic and often horrific adventures with only true optimism to keep him alive against all possible odds. Directed by Laura Lundy-Paine. Music Direction by David Manley. Choreography by Lisa Bush Finn.
