Polish Music at Polish Hall - Maciej Grzybowski - piano recital
His interpretations of Bach, Berg, Schönberg, Szymaski and Mykietyn show the touch of genius! There are certainly none today to equal his readings of Bach! (...) How refreshing and exciting it is to be in the presence of such great art of interpretation, akin to a genius!
(Bohdan Pociej).

The performance of Bergs youthful Sonata and Schönbergs Sechs kleine Klavierstücke could easily stand alongside the recordings of Gould or Pollini.
(Marcin Gmys).

Pianist and chamber musician, four-time nominee for a Passport' awarded by the weekly Polityka. He has recorded two discs nominated for the Polish record industry's Fryderyk' awards: Dialog (Bach, Schönberg, Berg, Szymanski, Mykietyn; Universal) and Pawe Szymanski - Works for Piano (EMI Classics). From 1992 to 2005, he was a member of the NONSTROM ensemble. As a soloist, he has performed at international festivals alongside such stars as Martha Argerich, Paul Badura-Skoda, Grigory Sokolov, Ivo Pogorelich, Piotr Anderszewski, the Arditti Quartet and London Sinfonietta. In 2005, he made his New York recital debut and performed at the Mozart Hall in Bologna. A year later, he took part in the Pawel Szymanski Music Festival held at the Witold Lutoslawski Studio in Warsaw, recorded by PWA (NInA). In 2007, at the Sacrum Profanum' festival, he performed the complete piano sonatas of Charles Ives in a single evening. In the UK, he made his debut at the Sounds New' festival in Canterbury in 2008. That same year, he recorded André Tchaikowsky's Piano Concerto No. 2, Op. 4 at the Chopin and his Europe' festival.
