A *new* version of our popular annual wreath-making event, Wine and Wreaths is the perfect friends-night-out activity for the holiday season. We collect unique and unusual (as well as some of the classics!) material from the Botanical Garden, and offer participants an opportunity to create festive holiday wreaths.
For the 3rd year, we're excited to welcome Baylor Chapman as the workshop instructor. As founder and principal designer of Lila B. Design, Baylor brings over ten years of experience and a warm smile to garden and floral design. Before creating Lila B. Design in January 2007 she was part of a team of talented gardeners at an ecologically minded private estate while completing UC Berkeley Extension's Garden Design Program. Her work has been featured in publications such as Sunset Magazine, California Home + Design, and Brides Magazine.
Materials provided include a wire frame (12"), paddle wire, ribbons, and green material. Tickets includes two servings of wine. Please bring clippers, scissors and any ornaments, ribbon, or other accouterments you like to enhance your botanical creation.
Please note that there are also day-time sessions to which children are welcome. Wine and Wreaths is for ages 21 and over. IDs will be checked at the door.
