Every other year, farmers, health practitioners, market managers, chefs, legislators, students, educators, food service directors, and local food activists from around the state come together for the Mississippi Food Summit & Agricultural Revival, a three-day event including the Mississippi Farm to Cafeteria Conference and the Farmer to Farmer Conference. They share success stories, problem-solve barriers, provide opportunities, and discuss issues that connect their diverse specialties. With the ultimate goal to educate, inspire, and empower one another, the Mississippi Food Summit is truly a one-of-a-kind gathering that has something for the whole family.

This year the Food Summit includes;
Day 1, 11.17.16 - Mississippi Farm to Cafeteria Conference (incl lunch)
Day 2, 11.18.16 - Farmer to Farmer Conference (incl dinner)
Day 3, 11.19.16 - Visit us at the Mississippi Farmers Market, participate in a direct action, and then join us for an afternoon of local farm and garden tours!

Purchasing Tickets:
You can purchase a ticket below to the Mississippi Farm to Cafeteria Conference (Thurs, 11.17), to the Mississippi Farmer to Farmer Conference (Fri, 11.18), or save money and purchase a ticket for the full three-day event. All tickets will be picked up at the event on the day of.
This year, we also have an option for you to donate the purchase of one or more tickets through our Community Supported Conference option. These purchased tickets will allow us to provide scholarships for new and beginning or socially disadvantaged farmers and low-income participants. It also allows us to offer attendance free to all students. NOTE: If you donate tickets through this option but also plan to attend yourself as well, you must still purchase your own ticket for Day One, Day Two, or the Full Summit.
