Battle of Britain
WE shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills, we shall fight on the track; we shall never surrender.
The Seaside Siren Roller Girls are proud to present Battle of Britain, the third bout of our second season where we can't wait to skate to victory!
With stoic blitz spirit, the Seaside Sirens will skate blood sweat and tears in TWO mixed bouts, featuring our A and B team skaters, and with the help of our derby sisters nationwide to make up teams that will certainly put a curl in your victory roll.
First up we have the Spitfires vs Hurricanes, two mixed teams featuring the Seaside Sirens brilliant B-team skaters, working alongside guest skaters to field teams ready to bomb the opposition.
And for the main event we have the Victory Rollers vs Fighter Command which will feature our A-team skaters mixed with skaters from around the country, and if the team names are anything to go by, beauty and bloodshed will definitely be on the (ration) cards.
Taking place at our home venue, Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre, we have NEW times, giving you more opportunity to drink yourself to victory at our infamous afterparty.
Doors will open at 4pm with the live roller derby action kicking off at 4.30pm with the mixed B-teams Spitfires vs Hurricanes fighting to the finish, followed by the Victory Rollers vs Fighter Command.
