Join Girish for a summer weekend of chanting, meditation, yoga, pranayama, and kirtan at a private California retreat center located on 355 acres of mountain-top redwood forest and grassland overlooking Monterey Bay, between Santa Cruz and Monterey, in Northern California.

Learn the meaning of and intentions behind the chants, learn your way around a harmonium and tablas,
Learn to lift your voice in joyful song and prayer!

In addition to filling you up with chanting, we will feed you delicious vegetarian food, and you will have the opportunity to enjoy hiking trails, volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts, a swimming pond, a hot tub, and optional bodywork.

This amazing weekend features:

Mantra workshops -
Choosing mantras for healing, manifestation, and awakening
Exploring the devotional practice of Stotrams (text chants)
Hanuman Chalisa , Gayatri Mantra, Chandi Stotram, Guru Gita
Music modules - (no musical experience necessary!)
Exploring instrumental and vocal support for mantra and Kirtan practice .
Voice, Harmonium, and Tabla.
The opportunity to experience leading Kirtan!
Kirtan Concert -
Girish will be joined by his band for a Kirtan on Saturday night.
Yoga and Music classes -
We'll have live music and yoga classes with Girish each day of the retreat.
Pranayama practice -
Learning the 9 Healing Breaths
Sankalpa (Intention setting workshop) -
The retreat will close with a Vision Board workshop, setting our intentions for the year ahead.
