Freestyle Rap 101 Workshop

Buck &; Clint Vrazel - Freestyle Rap 101 Buck and Clint of rap-comedy duo Twinprov have taken their high-speed full-length hip-hop improv longform Rapsody to festivals from Chicago to Austin to Hawaii. If two guys from small town Oklahoma can, you can too! Whether you're new to rap, beatbox, or poetry, an Old School "G," or just wanting a new and exciting improv challenge, this is the workshop for you. We'll demystify rhyme, flow, hooks, imagery, beatboxing and more with fun foundational drills and games that build skills you'll use every time you need to improvise lyrics, from hip-hop to Broadway to Shakespeare to slam poetry. Learn how to apply your improv character, acting, and story skills to be fascinating even without rhyme. By the end of the workshop you'll be crafting whole songs on your own and kicking it with a posse. Uh! This workshop has a maximum capacity of 16 people. This workshop will be held at Go Comedy! Improv Theater Academy located at 243 E. 9 Mile Ferndale, MI 48220.
