Lecture Details The 21st Century is connecting our lives inextricably to our smart phones and other devices. Fitness trackers monitor our heartbeats and sleep. Special contact lenses can detect a diabetics blood sugar. Pokémon GO collected data on users, much to the outrage of many. The future promises more, not less, human and computer interaction, with benefits to our collective convenience and well-being. But benefits come with risks. This talk will examine the balance between the good provided by technological advances and the potential negatives.
