Winds of Change
Join us for a music concert featuring the ancient "bansuri" with David Philipson and accompanied by Tabla artist Miles Shrewsbery.
An ancient musical instrument associated with cowherds and the pastoral tradition, the bansuri (bamboo flute) is intimately linked to the love story of Krishna and Radha, and is depicted in Buddhist paintings from around 100 AD.
All proceeds go towards "Care for Children" rural and tribal schools in India, providing primary education to over 13055 children in 118 schools.
