Annie and Rod Capps Band - Friday Nov. 18
Tickets: $20 in advance/$25 at the door. No refunds. On a musical journey that began in 1982, Annie and Rod Capps have earned sincere praise for their songwriting and musicianship, with two albums topping the Folk-DJ charts, multiple Detroit Music Award nominations, and as 2-time Kerrville New Folk Finalists (2012 & 2010). Defining their style is not easy. It never ceases to be a moving target as they work continually to evolve with surprising new influences and inspirations, always striving for true musical and songwriting maturity. None-the-less, for more than 30 years theyve been cultivating a symbiotic sound that reflects their deep and intuitive understanding of each other, delivering songs about broken things and poignant little ponderings with a rootsy vibe, a touch of twang and a soulful groove.
