2008 Seattle Farmer Chef Connection
The Farmer Chef Connection is a unique annual gathering that brings together food producers (principally farmers, ranchers and artisans) with food buyers (chefs, retailers, processors, distributors, and institutional purchasers) for what is first and foremost a business-to-business networking event.
2008 Program highlights include:
*Keynote address delivered by Washington State University President Dr. Elson Floyd
*Panels on Water Conservation, 'Agri-Culinary Tourism', Winter Seasonality & Value-Added Products, and Selling & Buying Whole Animals
*Two Networking Sessions
*A fantastic local lunch, plus a tasting of wine, beer, cheese & chocolate!
