EVITA
The rise and fall of Eva Duarte Peron, a poor girl from the streets of Argentina who, through sheer ambition, rose to the top! Narrated by a young revolutionary named Che, who shows how Eva pulled herself out of the gutter to achieve fame, first as a movie star and then as Evita, the first lady of her country. The original Broadway production won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical (the first British show to do so) with a Latin-infused score that includes the beloved anthem, Dont Cry For Me, Argentina.
Directed by Brad Friedman, musical direction by Attilio Tribuzi, choreography by Robyn Tribuzi.
