Coffee with Friends: Our Pre-Columbian Pioneers
Friends of Gumbo Limbo & the Boca Raton Historical Society (BRHS) present the next Coffee with Friends event!
Spend International Archaeology Day with Friends of Gumbo Limbo and Boca Raton Historical Society. Come and learn about Boca Raton's first inhabitants, the Native Americans who lived here over 1,000 years ago! Join us on Saturday, October 15th from 9am-Noon. Enjoy coffee and conversation at the Boca Raton History Museum, 71 North Federal Highway.
Speak with local archaeologists and become acquainted with some of the artifacts and culture of the first residents of Gumbo Limbo and other local sites.
While at the museum, make sure you check out the Boca Raton History Museum's current exhibits: Boca Raton in the 1960's and Mizner Industries/Mizner Style.
Parking is available on the west side of the museum and along Boca Raton Boulevard, next to the museum.
