August 18th, 2012, the 21th annual Olalla Bluegrass (& beyond) Festival will take place in Olalla, WA. Considered by many to be 'the best one-day bluegrass festival' in Washington State, the Festival is a non-profit event dedicated to entertaining and enriching our local community. It's truly a family event featuring local and national bluegrass artists, great food, handmade arts and crafts, old time craft demonstrations, a wide variety of activities for children and, of course, the legendary Berry Pie Contest. Our very informal research indicates that we attract music fans from as far away as Arizona, Virginia and even Europe not to mention the hundreds of families and individuals who come from throughout the Puget Sound area. Gates open at 10AM. Music starts at 11AM till Dusk. Children under 6 are free.
