HellaCon 2
HellaCon is a community inspired pop-culture event for the Bay Area, now in its second year! The event will focus on local art projects spanning multiple mediums. HellaCon strives to provide a spotlight on independent artists, creative individuals, and entertainment initiatives with a Bay Area vibe and a "comic convention" atmosphere.
The fun-filled day of pop-culture oriented presentations, screenings, and live music will include:
- Midnites for Maniacs host Jesse Hawthorne Ficks
- This Damn World live podcast
- Story Slam Oakland w/ Julie Soller
- Musical Guest: 20 Minute Loop
- Film critic Zaki Hasan
- The 2nd Annual HellaCon Short Film Festival (with guest judges Esther Pearl, Jesse Eisenhardt, Pam Grady, and Zaki Hasan)
