Jumpin Entertainment is thrilled to bring you another Twistin' & Shakin' Dance Party on LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2016 when we feature the Band SWINGADELIC!
Swingadelic, known as New York Citys greatest little big band, will deliver the solid big band feel of Ellington, Basie, Billy Eckstine, Hampton, Sinatra, along with fabulous 50's Rock n Roll, Jump Blues and some Bang up Boogie Woogie.
The VFW HALL is a former Asbury Park National Guard Armory, (now the VFW) dates back to 1915 and once housed troupes heading for World Wars I and II. But in the 1940's and 1950's it also played another historic role. The large hall inside provided space for huge dances, featuring some of the country's leading African American music entertainers. (Asbury Park was a segregated city at that time.) There was no stage in the Armory then, only a large wooden dance floor with an overlooking second floor balcony. Billy Eckstine played there in 1944, with young Dizzy Gillespie in his band.

* The Swing Intro DVD and The Lindy Hop 1&2 DVD are dance instructionals produced by Jumpin Entertainment and feature the dance couple Paolo & Laurentina.
The Swing Intro is recommended for those with little or no experience in Swing Partner Dancing. The Lindy Hop 1&2 is geared towards those with at least 6 months of experience with Swing partnering. Downloads can be redeemed shortly after purchase. You will received a code.
The Sneaker Bag is compliments of the Lindy Hop All-Stars dance troupe and is their team bag. It's great for holding your dance shoes, bottled water and other stuff.
