Cornering Skills 201

NB: A pre-requisite is the Cornering Skills 101 class.

San Francisco Randonneurs presents a cycling skills clinic led by former road racing cyclist Paul Skilbeck.

You will practice medium speed cornering, ultra-tight turning circles, picking your line, changing your line, and subtle weight shifts to assist with cornering dynamics.

The session begins indoors with a seminar and then moves to an outside location to demonstrate and practice skills.

Come ready to ride. You may park your bike inside Sports Basement, in the Big Room.

Session duration: approx. 2h30

Because so many people book very close to the event, and there are limited spaces, there will be no ticket exchanges or refunds.

Cycling is a risky sport! Like skiing, climbing, sailing and many other fun sports, cycling carries a significant risk of injury. Most cyclists crash at some point during their time with cycling. The purpose of these clinics is to lay the foundations of greater skills with which cyclists can control their bicycles.
