Introducing The Point Richmond Jazz String Quartet
The NEW PR Jazz String Quartet is comprised of 4 of the finest and most innovative string players on the scene today:
Topping the list is Turtle Island Quartet's founding and longest serving cellist, Mark Summer. Matt Szemela and Steve Huber are on violins. Matthew has collaborated with tap dancer, Savion Glover on his production Classical Savion, appeared with artists like Sting, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), and Cassandra Wilson. He is currently a member of Quartet San Francisco. Emily Onderdonk, viola, is the leader and lead arranger for the group, and was a founding member of Quartet San Francisco..

Other credits include work with Paquito D'Rivera and many others Matt Szemela and Steve Huber are on violins. Matthew has collaborated with tap dancer, Savion Glover on his production 'Classical Savion,' appeared with artists like Sting, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), and Cassandra Wilson. He is recently stepped down as a member of Quartet San Francisco. Emily Onderdonk, viola, is the leader and lead arranger for the group, and was a founding member of Quartet San Francisco.
