ReelAbilities Day 4: Spotlight on the Arts presents
IMBERS LEFT HAND Richard Kane | 2014 | USA | 63 Min | Documentary
This beautifully composed documentary traces the life and work of charismatic painter, Jon Imber. The film investigates the many adaptations the artist took due to ALS, switching from painting with his right hand to his left, then to both as the degenerative condition worsens. Adversity only makes him more determined: and his undying passion for painting leads him to create more than 200 portraits in a three month period.
