Town of Runners
August 7, 2012 7:00 p.m. screening of the documentary film "Town of Runners" about the Ethiopian town of Bekoji, where every child dreams of becoming an elite long distance runner. Film maker, Jerry Rothwell follows three young women in their quest to join the country's international stars. The film is being screened at the Sundance Houston Theater. Ticket sales benefit Ethiopia Reads and are targeted to help build libraries in the towns of Yirgacheffe and Bekoji. Free parking in theater district underground garage.
