This fall, National Geographic and Imagine Entertainment are bringing us to Mars as they launch the global event series Red Planet. Kepler's is celebrating this extraordinary series by bringing Leonard David, the author of the companion book, "Mars: Our Future on the Red Planet," to Kepler's.
David, who previously co-authored Buzz Aldrin's "Mission to Mars," is an award-winning space journalist who has been reporting on space activities for more than 50 years. With a foreword by legendary director Ron Howard, this stunning book combines science, technology, photography, art and storytelling in a way that only National Geographic can offer.
Dr. Christopher McKay is a planetary scientist at NASA's Ames research Center, where he studies planetary atmospheres, astrobiology, and terraforming. He has worked with the Planetary Society and Mars Society and speaks frequently on space exploration and terraforming.
Come join us for an extraordinary conversation here on Earth about mankind's future among the stars.
