Custom Leather Mask Making for People Who Wear Glasses!
This special 2-day workshop is limited to 4 students who are 18+ and WEAR GLASSES.
Note: If you don't wear glasses, please don't sign up for this workshop. Getting the pattern just right for glasses takes much more time, and you'll be so bored! I promise to post other general mask making classes soon!
No experience necessary!
I'll teach you how to:
-Make a great pattern for a leather mask that will fit comfortably over your glasses without steaming them up or scratching them
-Transfer your pattern to leather and cut it out
-Edge your mask blank and add textural details
-Shape your mask to fit comfortably on your face and around your glasses
-Paint your beautiful leather mask
-Add embellishments
You will leave the workshop on the first day without your mask. I'm sorry! But it has to dry overnight so it'll be hardened and ready for you to decorate.
You'll leave the second day with one beautiful mask that you designed and created yourself, that fits your face perfectly with your glasses on!
In the meantime, I'll also teach you general leatherworking things such as:
-Selecting the proper leather for your project
-Setting rivets, grommets and snaps
-Sewing leather by hand using the saddle stitch
