PRESENTED BY MOBILE ARTS COUNCIL AND WIND CREEK HOSPITALITY
The Artys is an awards program that acknowledges the important contributions that individuals, groups and businesses make to the cultural life of our community.
The 2016 the awards are being presented in eleven categories: Lifetime Achievement, Patron, Arts Educator, Artistic Innovation, Visual Artist, Performing Artist, Literary Artist, Artistic Design, Business, Organization and Art Soldier.
The awards themselves are works of art. Each year, a local artist working in a different medium is selected to create a limited edition work that serves as the GMAA. This year the awards are being made by Susie Bowman, owner of the Kiln Studio and Gallery.
