In 1964, a young (15 years old) Andy Kaufman, penned a raucous satirical musical based on his burgeoning understanding of relations of the sexes, and the use and abuse of power. While this may be the common musings of a teenager, his mind even at this age was brilliant and incisive. This play was secreted away and never performed until a group of Providence artists, performers and musicians got a hold of it. Filling in the blanks of these never before performed and un-scored materials, Providence director Sarah L Reiter brings together a cast of the city's most absurd, and composer Nicole Cooney sets them to singing. July's brief and unmissable, probably already sold out event.
