A Song Upon My Heart

The concert features musical selections from Brian and Diana's new CD, Song Upon
My Heart. Also on the concert and CD, is a very special song, Hearts
Joined as One, a song which they composed in celebration of the 90th
Anniversary of the United Church of Canada as well as some favourites from their previous CD "Tapestry of Love".

A founding partner of Virgo Music Canada, Diana Chappell has been composing and performing gospel and country/folk music since high school. Diana has a Masters in Adult Education and has worked in the social services for more than 30 years, earning the award of Woman of Distinction in 2006. Diana is active at Faith United in Courtice ON, providing leadership in the adult faith development programs

Barb Grenier's earliest recollection of singing is with her elementary school choir in the Kiwanis Music Festival in Toronto. She enjoys performing in musical theatre productions, country music festivals and is often heard as a featured gospel performer at summer country jamborees across Southern Ontario. Barb has also performed in VMC's productions of The Wartime Radio Show and M4A Multi Media Matthew Musical as well as appearing in the Tapestry of Love concert tours of 2012 and 2013.

Brian Stevens, the other founding partner of Virgo Music Canada, holds a music degree from St. Francis Xavier University and a Mdiv from the Atlantic School of Theology. His compositions include 20 musical plays for children, Christmas and Easter Cantatas, numerous works for choir, liturgical dramas and service music. He has performed throughout Canada, New England and the Caribbean. He has also been heard in concert on CBC Radios, All for the Best with the Nova Gospel Ensemble. Brian preaches biweekly at Hope United Church, Toronto.
