Namaste, friends! Come join us for a joyful, grooving evening of kirtan and chant with Global Vocalist Gina Salá, visiting tabla great Daniel Paul, and other wonderful musicians and...you! All welcome, come as you are, participate as you like- no particular ability or belief system required. The mind gets spacious and rests in the heart, and the body may dance to the rhythm, chant along or just relax back.

Gina Salá is a singer, composer, teacher and kirtan leader with a repertoire spanning 23 languages. She began chanting from the age of 3 living in a Swami Sivananda Radha's ashram and deepened her practices wandering the Himalayas, a buddhist monastery and in ongoing study with her Sanskrit, tantra, and classical singing teachers in India. Gina's engaging personality, voice and wealth of experiences have led her from Himalayan huts to programs at the United Nations, festivals and as lead singer for Cirque du Soleil. She offers retreats, workshops and kirtans and sound tours internationally, private sessions in harmonium, sanskrit mantra, and voice via skype. Daniel Paul is one of the most sought-after tabla drummers in America, well-respected in both classical Indian and western kirtan communities. He spent 9 years of rigorous study at the Ali Akbar College of Music working closely with Ali Akbar Khan and several great masters of tabla, (Zakir Hussain, Jnan Prakash Ghosh and Swapan Chaudhury) and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to continue his studies with master percussionists throughout India. Today he continues to perform with well- known classical Indian music masters and with many of today's top kirtan artists though primarily he works with Jai Uttal and Gina Salá.
