Muddy Ruckus
Muddy Ruckus is a nationally touring americana-rock duo from Portland, Maine. The stripped down power duo features guitarist Ryan Flaherty and percussionist Erika Stahl. Muddy Ruckus blends haunting male/female vocals, rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit. The band seasons their music with the salt of the eastern old ports and the mud of the Mississippi River where Flaherty grew up, creating an epic blend of bluesy folk rock, foot stomping rhythms and haunting vocal melodies. The New York Music Daily calls Muddy Ruckus "Darkly Inventive Americana". In April 2016, Muddy Ruckus was dubbed "Best in State of Maine" by the New England Music Awards. muddyruckus.com
Nate Leavitt and the Elevation
With his 2014 album You, Me and the Silence Nate Leavitt emerged from the side of the stage and announced himself as a gifted artist in his own right. Already a respected guitarist on the Boston scene, the record showcased his rugged vocals and carefully crafted songwriting, gaining him a Boston Music Award nomination in the process. He now returns as the leader of his own gang, a confident frontman inspired by the talented musicians around him.
It makes perfect sense that he would call his band The Elevation. Having played lead guitar in groups such as Delta Clutch, The Blizzard of 78, OldJack and Parlour Bells for a little over twenty years, Leavitt knows all too well how working with others can help songs transcend their origins and elevate performance to a new level. OldJack
Since their first show way back in 2008, critics and fans knew there was something unique about OldJack. Hailed as the most underrated band in Boston, with three guitars, bass, drums, organ/keys, a female background singer, and a front man from yesterday, OldJack belts out their original material with lots of harmonies, big vocals, and guitar solos galore.

Julie Rhodes
Despite the ever-increasing amount of genres and styles in todays music, blues still remains untouchable; a timeless sound that has soared from generation to generation. In Bostons backyard of Somerville theres a lady whos causing a stir with a voice that wails and can take over a room in a split-second. Evoking a similar vibe reminiscent of artists Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and 60s-era Diana Ross, she wears her heart on her sleeve with each lyric she sings. Cactus Attack
You take away the music, take away the late nights, take away the miles of road and the hangovers and you're left with five close friends who have stood the test of time. Add all of the beers, butts, and bastardized tunes back in to the equation and you get one hell of a band.
