| Description |
Step Back In Time and History and Enjoy Sweet Spring Pleasures at the 14th Annual North Carolina Renaissance Faire March 29 & 30, April 5 & 6 and April 12 & 13.
Featuring Full Contact Jousting as well Equestrian Acrobatics, Queen Elizabeth I and Her Royal Court, 7 Stages of Entertainment including Magic, Juggling, Puppetry, Music Dance, Comedia Del Arte and Much More. Our Tavern features mead and beer and special stage with entertainment throughout the day.
You'll be greeted by a host of street characters to entertain and delight. Our Faire also features a spcial story each year and this year the theme will be "Secrets and Spies."
Over 100 Merchants will be hawking their unique wares, arts and crafts demonstrations abound and Period games can be played. Dance the Maypole or Enjoy a variety of period themed foods fit for a King (or Queen).
On April 5 & 6 we will host a Special Tartan Day Celebration with a concert at the end of the day on Saturday. Tartan Day is the officially recognized celebration of Scottish Heritage, so, wear your kilts and tartans and show your Scottish Pride! OR just learn more about Scottish culture with special Tartan Day activities throughout the weekend!
