Race for a Soldier Prayer Breakfast 2012
Please join us for an uplifting morning of worship, delicious catered breakfast, and prayer as we gather to listen and learn how we as a community can better support our courageous veterans as they transition from the battlefield to home life.
In the words of Senator Bob Dole,
"Each war is unique, each person's experience is different, but collectively we can help each other."
We owe it to our soldiers and their families to provide a warm and welcoming homecoming, however long that homecoming might last. For those dealing with PTSD and TBI, the safety net of prayer and outreach the civilian community supplies can make all the difference!
Come experience this moving event and see how God is working in the lives of our soldiers to help them harness the good and traumatic experiences and utilize them for increased strength, resiliency and perspective to become the men and women God designed them to be! Space is limited and your ticket serves as a donation to Race For A Soldier, whose proceeds directly benefit local organizations providing alternative therapies and support for our veterans living with PTSD and TBI. Come, be blessed and become part of the healing.
