Dragon Training: Learn to Eat, Breathe, & Play with Fire
Welcome to Dragon Training! A workshop for fire virgins & experienced performers alike. Our motto, Learn Not Burn. Students are introduced to fire safety, the difference between fuels, and techniques on taming the flame. Build up your skill set learning new tricks every class.

18+ only. Register in advance to guarantee spot. 10 student max per class date. Drop ins welcome.

Fire Eating: Learn breath control, how to extinguish torches in your mouth, teeth holds, and techniques to transfer the flame by mouth and hand.
Fire Fleshing: Learn how to draw and transfer fire along skin. Shaving body hair from arms on both sides highly suggested. Fire Breathing: Learn to create a fireballs by breathing a fine mist of fuel over an open flame. Limited to no facial hair highly suggested.
Fire Spinning: Learn to spin poi and fire props. Class is instructed on sock (non fire) poi. At the end of class students are given the opportunity to fire up real poi under instructor supervision.
Fire Safety: Learn the difference between fuels, how to safely extinguish props, and how to protect yourself and the audience/venue from light ups.
What to Wear: Form fitting cotton based clothing & a bandana to cover hair highly suggested. Class is held outside.
What to not Wear: Perfume, hairspray, & body oils. 90 minutes
About the Instructor: Crystal Cruz is the founder and director of House of Cirque, acrobatic stilt dancer, side show and circus performance artist, and circus arts instructor.
