The Martha's Vineyard Author Series 2016 features discussions with some of the country's leading authors. This summer's line up includes Carly Simon, Richard Russo, Diane Rehm, Matthew Desmond, Jane Mayer, Geraldine Brooks and Margo Jefferson.
Become a sponsor of the Martha's Vineyard Author Series and receive two VIP tickets to each of the author events in the series and one autographed copy of each author's book. Sponsors also receive two VIP tickets to a private author event. VIP ticket holders are provided reserved seating in the front rows. Proceeds benefit the Martha's Vineyard Book Festival and Author Series. $500 of the sponsorship price is tax deductible.

Thursday, July 21, 7:30 pm: Geraldine Brooks, The Secret Chord

Harvard sociologist and MacArthur Genius, Matthew Desmond discusses his acclaimed and heartbreaking book Evicted, a landmark work on the housing crisis affecting the poor in America.
Thursday, July 28, 7:30 pm: Richard Russo, Everybody's Fool
One of Americas most compelling and compassionate storytellers, Richard Russo discusses his eagerly awaited new novel, Everybody's Fool. Russo is author of the Pulitzer Prize winning, Empire Falls, and That Old Cape Magic and Bridge of Sighs. Amor Towles interviews Richard Russo.
