Music from Our Lands: Sweden and Minnesota
Join Source Song Festival as it presents an evening of Swedish songs and Libby Larsen's new cycle "The Birth Project". In collaboration with the American Swedish Institute, and with generous support from the Swedish Council of America, join Larsen and acclaimed Swedish baritone Håkan Hagegård as they offer this very unique program.
Performers include local artists and special guests Kathleen Roland-Silverstein, Fulbright Scholar to Sweden, and Arlene Shrut, Juilliard School faculty. Source Song Festival celebrates the unique intersection of words and music which create song.
