Oliver Ranch Tour

All Sebastopol Center for the Arts (SCA) members are invited to take advantage of this exclusive early bird pricing on a rare tour of Oliver Ranch in rural Sonoma County.
Oliver Ranch is home to 18 site-specific installations by Andy Goldsworthy, Ann Hamilton, Bruce Nauman, Judith Shea and other world-renowned artists.
Nancy and Steve Oliver have been building this collection for over 25 years. They work closely with each of the artists, who become part family, part collaborators and part idols. The Olivers describe their adventures more as collecting experiences than collecting art. Our tour will start with a short luxury bus ride from SCA. This tour will be led by the expert tour guides at Oliver Ranch -providing deeper context and history to the sculptures. Following a roughly 2.5 hour tour we will return by bus to SCA where we will be featuring a casual gourmet lunch with wine, followed by a tour of SCAs Galletta Gallery and the featured Landscape exhibit. A rich, one of a kind experience.
The Olivers provide access to the Ranch to help select non-profit organizations raise funds. We are fortunate to be able to offer this exciting experience.
The tour length is 2-3 hours and it covers approximately 2.5 miles with 600 feet of up and down elevation change. It can be likened to a light hike in the woods as the paths are unpaved. The tour is not wheelchair accessible and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
