On The Green
On The Green will take place on and around Allingtons Village Green on 8/9/10 July. The focus will be on live music, food and drink in the courtyard at the The Welby Arms pub throughout the weekend,and a car show on The Green itself on the Sunday. A marquee with stage area will be erected within the courtyard.
Five bands have already been booked for the Friday and Saturday nights. They include Relentless, The Most Ugly Child, Daniel Duke, Cover2Cover and Lauren April. One more will be added to the Friday line-up. The pub will be providing a BBQ and there will be a real ale bar with a wide range of local beers.
For the car show there will be a road closure in place allowing the centre of the village to host a stunning display of vehicles.
