Sunset Lighthouse Boat Tour
NB: for day-of tickets please call 203-444-2884.
As 1 PM October 15, we have three tickets available for Saturday, October 15, and two tickets available for Sunday, October 16, 2016.

Twilight is the time of day between daylight and darkness, when the sun sets. It is a magical time to be on the water.

Explore the region's lighthouses -- as the sun sets -- with the one who knows them best.

There is every variety of lighthouses within easy reach of New London harbor. New London Maritime Society owns three of them, and each summer provides a variety of lighthouse boat tours every Saturday & Sunday from June through October.

Take a memorable one-hour ride to view the three picturesque lighthouses of New London Harbor: New London Harbor 'Pequot' Light  a classic octagon, the oldest and tallest lighthouse on Long Island Sound; 1909 brick New London Ledge Light  reputed home to Erie the ghost; and Avery Point Light  built in 1943, the newest lighthouse in Connecticut. The boat takes six passengers, only. Trips coincide with the three dates of the full moon and are timed to end as the sun sets, June through October.

Best of all, all monies raised by NLMS go towards restoration of our local lighthouses.

Tours commence Sunday, June 19 and run through October!

Remember: Reservations, 24 hours in advance, are necessary for all of our tours, as we need to notify our captains. (If you want to take a chance with a day-of tour, please call 860-447-8700.)
