SAN DIEGO -- CONCHA VARGAS 3-Day Workshops Aug 10-12
An iconic figure of Gypsy Flamenco dance, Concha Vargas is known for her dynamic fiery dance style and her spontaneous expression of raw emotion.
She has performed all over Europe, Asia and United States for over 25 years and has worked with such flamenco greats as dancers "El Guito" and Mario Maya, guitarist Pedro Bacan and singers La Macanita and Curro Fernandez. She performed with Antonio "El Pipa" as featured guest artist in both the US and throughout Europe. In recent years she has performed with Andrés Marín in festivals such as Seville's prestigious Bienal del Flamenco.
