Food Underground Home Brewed Two
Once again, homebrewer Doug Buddle and Food Underground are presenting a 7-course pairing dinner at the Physick House in Olde City.
summer roll | farm greens | puffed spelt | chive oil | ginger aioli
Grisette (4%) - This light, golden brew is made with local PA craft malt and spelt and has a dense, rich foam. Flavored with ginger root and grains of paradise, it has notes of tropical fruit, earthiness, pepper and spice.
Hummus | roasted beet salsa | grains of paradise | grilled onion
Belgian Pale Ale (6%) - Copper in color, this mellow fruity and spicy brew is flavored with coriander, tangerine peel, and grains of paradise giving it notes of caramel, orange blossom. Pouring with a satisfying, creamy head it contains a subtle sweetness and supple spice character.
Tomato water | tomato jam | basil noodles | burrata | grilled crostini
Saison (6.9%) - This straw colored brew is fruity and spicy with a soft malt character. Having fruity notes of pineapple and lemon, it finishes peppery and dry.

Belgian Blonde (7.5%) - This spicy brew, both smooth and complex with a golden color, contains notes of tart lemon with honey like sweetness.

American Brown Ale (5.4%) - Light brown in color with a medium body, this very drinkable brew has toasted notes of chocolate and caramel. Its sweet malt is complimented by moderate flavors of hops and orange.

Milk Stout (6%) - Dark and delicious, this full-bodied brew is smooth, creamy and sweet on the palate with the flavors and aromas of deep-roasted grain, malt, espresso, chocolate, and cream.
