Midday at the Meeting House: Restoring Historic Graves Light
Presented by Old South Meeting House and Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands.
Graves Light and Fog Signal Station has been been called the most important light north of Cape Cod. Proud owners Lynn and Dave Waller will share its colorful 110 year history, including its remarkable construction, shipwrecks it has witnessed, and some of the the stations keepers. They will explain their ongoing restoration efforts, as they seek to bring the Light Station up to date while preserving its rich maritime history.
