Ephemera - Dancing, Drinking, Debauchery.
Ephemera is a dance theater experience conceived by choreographer Avital Asuleen and composer Frederick Alden Terry.
Limited engagement, July 11th, 19th, and 26th, at the Elektra Theatre in Times Square.
An immersive dance theater experience featuring a scintillating love triangle, a completely original score, and extraordinary cocktails.
Ephemera asks the audience to join seven dancers in a Manhattan bar as they experience a night of drinking, flirting, and salaciousness. Ephemera uses elements of jazz, funk, and electronic music to create a distinctly new score, and takes patrons on a dance based journey with unique characters all searching for compelling and satisfying relationships.
At Ephemera, the adventure you partake in is largely up to you. As an audience member, you can choose to enjoy Ephemera as either an active participant, or as a voyeur. After all, we don't like to tell anyone how they should enjoy a party. We do, however, highly suggest kicking back with a cocktail or three from our exceptional drink menu- one is already included with your ticket.
