Choro das 3 Concert in Caspar, CA
On Friday, June 24th, the Caspar Community is pleased to present the Brazilian musical group, Choro das 3, in concert. This acclaimed quartet is on their third US tour and are about to release their sixth album. The band's name comes from the style of music they play, choro, which is a spirited instrumental form traditional to Brazil. Choro incorporates elements of jazz, melodic composition, and Brazilian rhythms to create an infectious, playful blend of harmony and virtuosity. This concert will be an opportunity to experience a true taste of Brazil here, on the Mendocino coast. Tickets are $20 at BrownPaperTickets.com or at the door. Children are half price. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
