Historic Walking Tours of the Kennebunks
Produced by both the Brick Store Museum and the Kennebunkport Historical Society, this will be the first time one ticket will give visitors access to both tours!
Kennebunk Historic District Walking Tour:
Outdoor walking tours of Kennebunks National Register Historic District, which feature examples of Colonial, Federal, Greek Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne, and Colonial Revival homes, depart from the Museum. Tours last 60 90 minutes and cover less than a mile on sidewalks and flat terrain.
Kennebunkport Historic District Walking Tour:
The Kennebunkport Historical Society walking tour is a 1 mile walk through historic Kennebunkport. Tours leave from White Columns on Maine Street and take approximately 45 minutes. Tours cover Kennebunkport's beginnings in Cape Porpoise and take you through the history of the seaside town from ships captains to Presidents.
Tours will be conducted every hour on the hour - the last being at 4pm. Tours last approximately 45 minutes. Please wear comfy shoes.
