"Kye Alfred Hillig, the Tacoma, Washington-based singer-songwriter has been the principle songwriter for four bands with styles ranging from punk to surfy indie to folk since the age of twelve. To date he has written over 1,000 songs and recorded over 18 albums with these bands. Since 2012 he has worked on his solo career and released three albums Aurora, Together Through It All and Real Snow.

The Buddhist has been described by Kye Alfred Hillig as a collection of songs with the singer attempting to tear down the walls that metaphors can create. Honesty and openness is prevalent in this collection of songs that was written in just a week and a half with the help of bandmate Daniel G. Harmann. Its quite fitting that musically the songs are also naked with just Hilligs passionate vocals and intricate guitar playing and occasional backing vocals from Harmann."

The Winterlings:
http://www.winterlings.com/

With songs as vivid as feature films, alt-folk duo The Winterlings take listeners on unexpected journeys soaring with astronauts above a warming planet, hitchhiking from Alaska with a fisherman heading home to propose to his beloved, witnessing the struggle of a girl in the storm of social anxiety, and walking deeper into the forest of human existence. Featuring male and female lead vocals and harmonies, guitar, violin, banjitar, percussion and more, The Winterlings build bonfires of sound to dance and dream
beside.

"The Winterlings have a way of connecting with an audience that not a lot of bands have the ability to do. There's a realness there... it's like being part of the family. Going to a Winterlings show feels like coming home to nest." - KSER

"You Are Acres offers a sound thats as expansive as its title impliesits the kind of album clearly capable of casting its spell, and once thats accomplished, it refuses to let go." - No Depression

"...a gorgeous follow-up to their stunning debut." - PASTE
