On Friday, June 10th, Marty Willson Pipers Acres of Space & HuDosts 2016 US tour comes to the Berkshires and the Whitney Center for the Arts in Pittsfield Mass.

The music will be a large retrospective of Marty's solo work as well as songs from his other past projects like The Church & All About Eve. Montreal/ Kentucky based HuDost will also do a set of their 'Neo-Folk World Rock' material as well as being a part of Acres of Space!

Marty Willson-Piper is an English guitarist and singer best known as a long-time member of the Australian psychedelic rock band The Church. Willson-Piper contributed to all of the Church's stu-dio releases and was a member from 1980 to 2013.

Willson-Piper has maintained a steady solo output since the mid-1980s, releasing six solo studio albums and three live solo albums to date. Marty was also the guitarist for the English alternative rock band All About Eve from 1991 to 1993 and again from 1999 to 2002.  In 2005, Willson-Piper joined veteran Australian band The Saints to write & record an album Nothing Is Straight In My House as well as joining the band for the following tour. He is currently touring under the band name of Marty Willson-Pipers Acres of Space and also tours with the Swedish prog band Anekdoten.

The music of HuDost, the Neo Folk World Rock Ensemble from Montreal and KY, weaves a seamless tapestry of sound that renders tears and laughter in listeners, cultivating that nameless longing that abides somewhere in all our hearts. HuDosts core musicians are Moksha Sommer and Jemal Wade Hines. Their music is a rich, eclectic blending of Pop and Rock with traditional Sufi music, Bulgarian, Croatian, Macedonian and Balkan folk music, Farsi, Turkish, Arabic, and Folk. Their sound crosses all borders and barriers, taking the listener on a journey they will never forget.

Highlight HuDost Collaborations/ support include Ani DiFranco, Philip Glass, Jon Anderson, Joan Osborne, Snatam Kaur, Steve Kilbey, California Guitar Trio, Bell Orchestre, Neko Case, Jim Lauderdale, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Mercan Dede & more
