Taco Tour 2016
Thank you for the incredible interest in Taco Tour on Lake Street. With the support of individual donors we've raised over $1,000 for Latino Economic Development Center's impactful work (www.ledc-mn.org). We are humbled and grateful for the overwhelming number of registrations for this year's tour.
However, we sincerely regret to inform you that all of the free tacos have now been spoken for. We can no longer guarantee free tacos to anyone who hasn't registered. The pace of registrations has exceeded even our most optimistic projections. But don't worry -- If you're not registered, you can still enjoy the fun.
Here are a few options:
We will be announcing special packages to anyone who wishes to support LEDC, the Taco Tour, and the fantastic local restaurants participating this year. Packages will consist of great deals on food and drink, with a portion of the proceeds going to LEDC. Keep an eye on our Facebook @TacoTour On Lake Street, twitter @TacoTourMN and web pages for more details.
We've proudly partnered with the folks at Harriet Brewing Company, who will be hosting an after-party from 6:00pm - 11:00pm, right after the tour. Join us for great beers, live music, as well as food trucks offering both tacos and some lighter Latin fare. The first 75 people who show up and have donated to The Taco Tour and LEDC will receive a beer upon entry. Harriet will also be donating a generous portion all beer sales to LEDC. The event is open to the public, so if you weren't able to register for free tacos, cruise down E Lake St, and meet us at Harriet.
You are, of course, welcome to join the Taco Tour by simply visiting any of the participating restaurants on the 17th of July. They will be offering spectacular promotions. Even though we can't guarantee free tacos to those who haven't registered, you're welcome to ride along in the Taco Tour buses on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to do this, please let us know you will be attending by completing an RSVP at www.TacoTourLakeStreet.com. We'll have RSVPs posted early next week.
