THIS SHOW IS SOLD OUT. MANY THANKS!
After a three-year hiatus, songwriter and garage jazz delinquent Kevin Quain reunites some of his old compadres and co-enablers and returns to perform at the 2016 Toronto Jazz Festival. The venue is Toronto's historic Paddock Tavern, former haunt of jockeys, journalists and jazz greats such as Oscar Peterson and Alberta Hunter. For this show Kevin has reassembled the celebrated 2012 edition of the band: guitar wizard Kevin Barrett, the ferocious saxophonist Alison Young and the formidable rhythm section of brothers Gram & Lowell Whitty (bass & drums respectively.) Kevin will bring new songs, old favourites and a ton of attitude to this intimate and historic setting.
