Aurora Awakes
Artistic Director Dan Kocurek conducts the Rogue Valley Symphonic Band in their final concert of the season. This vivid music explores the fabulous colors of the band, evoking running horses, the awakening of the goddess of the dawn, and the warmth of October.
The program includes works by Eric Whitacre, David Maslanka, and Morton Lauridsen as well as the brilliant title piece of the concert, Aurora Awakes by John Mackey.
